I’m as curious today as I was when I was a child. I believe this is my greatest gift. I have an unwavering interest in people, in what makes each of us simply “us.” 

After a career in print journalism, including as a reporter in Chicago and Athens, Greece, I hosted and produced a daily radio show on WNYE 91.5 FM in New York. I left that gig in ’04 for fatherhood (I now have three teenagers) and moved into the field of psychoanalysis, shifting from a life of speaking to one of listening. I have a Masters in Psychoanalysis, and also in Marriage and Family Therapy, and so in addition to my podcast and blog I conduct a private practice. 

I believe our time is limited and it helps to give serious thought to how we wish to move through the world. The world, after all, could use the best of us.
